Jeff Miller
Jeff Miller serves as Chief Investment Officer at Simple Innovations. Jeff is directly responsible for strategy, business development, and strategic relationships across the American continent. Prior to joining Simple Innovations, Jeff was a co-founder at Fortune Empire, LLC, a global business platform connecting investors in the Middle East with growth companies seeking capital in the Americas. In this role, Jeff raised billions of dollars in capital for American companies.
My Experience
Early in his career, Jeff was the managing director and sat on the executive committee of a leading global venture capital and merchant banking firm for life sciences that had more than $1.5 billion in assets under management. Jeff also founded Miller Communications Group to provide high-tech start-ups with sophisticated business and financial skills.
He has also launched successful media businesses in New York and Silicon Valley. In addition, Jeff has built a career in the life science and information technology industries.Mr. Miller served as a top-level executive in the media business, including 10 years with Ziff-Davis Publishing Company, and then with Nielsen Business Media and IDG Publications; he was the associate publisher of PC Magazine, publisher of the Mac User Magazine and associate publisher of the Internet Industry Standard and the Journal of Life Sciences. Mr. Miller has a master’s degree in business administration from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business. Jeff has strong executive level relationships around the world especially in the technology and media industries, where he worked with notable personalities including Bill Gates, Michael Dell, Electronic Arts founder Trip Hawkins, and video game executive Bing Gordon, among others.
